Andrea is a dog behaviour specialist and lifelong animal enthusiast. Guided by her calm-and-confident approach, she helps establish clear boundaries, mutual respect, and genuine connection, ensuring dogs feel safe, secure, and understood. Her work focuses on building strong relationships between dogs and their owners, creating happier, more balanced homes.
Our assessments take place in your home and begin with a comprehensive questionnaire to help us understand your relationship with your dog, along with any concerns or areas you’d like to improve. At the end of the Assessment you will receive a personalised plan to implement with your dog.
From puppies to senior dogs, it’s never too late to learn. If you’re looking to strengthen your connection and create positive change, Andrea’s Dogs is here to help.
Assessments last 2.5 hours and include a follow-up phone consultation to support you in embedding new behaviours and setting your dog up for long-term success.
Assessments cost £95 and are essential if you would like to book any of our specialist training or Molly's Pack sessions.
Personalised training plans are tailored to your dog, your lifestyle, and your goals. Following an initial assessment, a clear plan is created and supported over time to ensure lasting results. With ongoing guidance, practical support, and consistent follow-up, you’re given the tools and confidence to implement the plan successfully and make meaningful progress.

A strong relationship with your dog starts with trust and clear boundaries. If you want a calm, happy home, those boundaries need to be enforced consistently and calmly, with you always in control. Through an initial assessment, we work together to create a clear, practical plan that helps you and your dog get there.

Consistency from everyone in the household is key to lasting progress. When all family members follow the same rules and respond in the same way, dogs feel more secure and less confused. This shared approach creates harmony at home and makes life with your dog more enjoyable for everyone.

Every dog is unique, and effective training starts with understanding the whole picture. An assessment allows us to learn about your dog’s behaviour, history, environment, health considerations, and emotional state, as well as your goals as an owner.
Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, the assessment helps us identify the root causes behind behaviours and determine what support will be most effective. This ensures training is safe, appropriate, and tailored specifically to your dog’s needs, leading to better and longer-lasting results.
During the assessment, we observe your dog’s behaviour in context and discuss key areas such as routines, lifestyle, training history, challenges, and goals. We also look at communication, confidence levels, stress triggers, and how your dog responds to guidance.
This session gives you clarity on what your dog needs and allows us to create a personalised training plan designed to support both you and your dog.
Starting training without an assessment risks overlooking important factors such as fear, stress, pain, or misunderstanding. These can impact progress and, in some cases, worsen behaviours.
The assessment ensures we are working at the right pace, using the right techniques, and building a strong foundation of trust and understanding from the start.
We don’t train “dogs in general”, we train your dog. Personalisation means every plan is built around your dog’s temperament, learning style, age, breed traits, environment, and your lifestyle.
We also tailor training to your goals, whether that’s improving confidence, addressing behavioural challenges, strengthening recall, or simply creating a calmer home. As your dog progresses, the plan evolves with them.
